The PTC (Paid to Click) method is by far the easiest way of earning extra income from home. It is so free to join. You also have the option to become a 'premium member' where you will be paid a much higher rate per click, more ads available and a higher referral earning percentage.

How does PTC work?
After you have registered to a PTC site, you are given list of advertisements (sometimes called adverts, abbreviated as ads). You get paid to click on the site and view them (or not, do something else!). There is a timer that lasts up to 30 seconds for each ad before they will credit you the earnings made. You can also get paid for referrals.

How much and when will you be paid?
Depending on the site or the advert being viewed. Usually $0.01 per click. The minimum payout is $2 (at least to the list I'm providing). Some though requires a minimum payout of $5 or $10 or much higher. Of course that takes a long time to accumulate so I only enlist those that payout $2. The secret is join to as many sites as possible.

How do they pay you?
They pay via PayPal or AlertPay. So better sign up to these online payment processors before signing up to PTC sites. There is no fee to join to don't worry.

Are these sites safe?
Not all so be careful. Read on feedback before signing in or you might get yourself into a scam or phishing sites.

If you stumbled upon this site, you are probably planning to start working from home or just looking for ways to make money online. Many know about this but many still don't. A friend of mine asked a question that most of us in the blogosphere find it really simple. What is blogging? Who has not heard of blogging? Of course she has but she wants an explanation.

When you try to surf in the internet, you will be amazed by the thousands of information you can get about one single thing. There are reviews, comments, forums, all directing to one thing. They were linking information to each other. They are linking words to websites and websites to another website. They are blogging. Bloggers update the information so fast.

Just recently, I could not forget how fast the world knew about the death of the King of Pop Michael Jackson. In seconds, the news scattered like a wildfire. In fact, twitter crashed and could not hold the traffic.

The word blog is a contraction of web log. We call every entry you made as posts. Blogs are more personal write ups, maybe but not formal journalism. You can easily differentiate a blog from a website since blogs are very dynamic. Guests who visit a blog can make a comment and have their opinions heard. Blogging is the easiest way to make your voice heard. Depending on how the author sets up his own blog, he can be public or private with few chosen people who can access his site. But most often than not, blogs are made public for all eyes to see.

So, it really doesn't matter if you are a professional writer or not. For as long as you can write anything, may it be formal or informal, you can start your own blog.

Not only that, you can also choose to monetise your webpage through ad networks. Ahh yes, the internet has become a fertile soil where anyone can invest time, skill, sometimes money to earn. It is a modern marketplace.

Being ones own boss is the dream of so many of us. But lets not forget that a job is something that needs to be done.

I thought of one thing today that I wanted to share with you. Like any other offline jobs, work from home can also be so tricky. With the computer and the internet, we can do so many things. We can upload the pictures we just took, share it and blog it. We can skype our friends and talk about the business. We can research about something we have may or may it not be work-related. But wait! What have we accomplished?

Tricky huh? All day long you thought you have been working. But look again, if there is no signs of changes in your webpage, I doubt what you have been doing.

My tip: Stick to your daily routine. Print it and post it so it will always remind you. The clock in in the home office is as important as the clock in the city office. There is time to read the newspaper for a refresher. Time for a coffee break. Time to chat. And time to WORK.

I actually I tried asking them why is there a fee to join. Fortunately I was able to gather their honest answer. Of course, they have to hire and pay employees to give their members 24/7 online support. Another is for the maintenance of their websites and other research expenses.

So do we really need to spend to be a member of their programs. Yes and no. NO because there are actually millions of websites in the internet to get information from on ways on how to earn extra income from home. But YES because the internet is saturated with tips where to begin, suggestions how to do it, advise what and what not to do, etc etc. When you start researching, you will see how you will be bombarded with all of these and you can get started anytime. Ironically you just can't. With the thousands and hundreds more of information and sites that offer you free information, you will lose your direction and waste your time. I'm telling this especially to beginners who have zero knowledge how to begin.

There are literally millions of home-based business or work from home job opportunities in the internet. Everywhere are banners, text ads, buttons, videos, ebooks advertising that they are legitimate. But like so many would attest, finding the best work from home program can be difficult. While there are legitimate work from home programs, there are really scams with nothing in hand but rob money from you.

I had also been scammed too a year ago. I paid for a Paid Survey Program through PayPal. Oh and they are tricky. You can talk to them through the telephone and have them reply to the emails. But weeks later, they were just not answering my emails regarding dead sites and other issues. I felt I just need to call them more because the program is not a program at all. It was merely a list of companies offering payments for surveys. And many sites were dead or they simply said, 'Sorry, this is not available in your area'. It was horrible. One mistake I realized after that was, I did not check the salespage thoroughly. There was no money-back guarantee nor any certifications. The ebook they had as a bonus was no more than a sign-up instruction.

With that, I was able to gather some tips on finding a work from home programs without being scammed. So always,

Read through the salespage carefully. Look for the "No-Risk" sign (money-back gurantee) and other certifications. Look also for physical address, telephone number and an email address. Bare in mind that they are scammers. They lure you into something that is not there so keep an eye to these.
Do some research. Read about other's ideas. Blogs like this are the perfect place to get advice and tips from. You can also seek answers from forums. People here share information. They praise good products and bust those that are not. These people are not afraid to voice out their opinions. If you still doubt, talk to friends who work from home, they'll share with you their experience and will be glad to welcome you to the same business.
Always be specific with your question like, 'how do I get paid?', 'can my country participate?'. These are the queries you should know especially when you are interested with Paid Surveys. See if it is global because most companies only accepts members from their country. This is also true for paid-to-shop and paid-to-watch-movies, etc.

Having been working at home, I don't want to be bias not telling you its downside. So in this post, I will present to you the pros and cons of working from home. Although many would agree that the benefits far outweigh the disadvantages, there are still a lot to consider when deciding on working from home.

The Disadvantages about Working from Home

Most of the time, the downfall of having a work from home jobs can be attributed to one's feelings over self, others and the work itself. For one, work from home can create feelings of isolation and boredom for there is less social interaction just sitting in your home office. Further, although work from home jobs is already popular and is widely accepted, one may feel inferior for not having the usual office outside of home.

Another thing that contributes to its downfall is lack of self-discipline. If you can't keep up with your schedule and you can't resist lengthy phone calls, TV programs, breaks, you can't also expect success. Keep in mind that the number one reason of this job choice is to spend more time with the family but having a home office can also be disadvantageous versus relationships with family. Logically, we may find it difficult to separate work from home life. Every now and then, we tend to check on emails and updates, and during spare time, we work because there are just so much to do.

The First Memo of a WAHMom

When I tell my friends that I’m starting to work from home, I often receive complementary responses. Oh well indeed, I am lucky to have stumbled upon these kind of work, to have this opportunity to earn extra income and to be there for my kids at the same time.

But hey, it is not at all easy. For the first few months, I spend sleepless nights trying to understand everything. I have no computer background so I literally started from scratch.

I read some mommy bloggers as well and I agree that it is indeed not uncommon that people would think that I’m lucky to do some things that they have no time to do.

As a beginner myself, I know how hard it is to understand the technical terms that pro-bloggers are talking about. Which is why I will write post in this blog as simple as possible for newbies out there who also want to start working at home. So come and let’s learn together.
